By Chris Tutor -- The Birmingham News You know what most flashlights are missing? Yeah, the ability to play music! Wow, how'd you guess? Weird minds think alike. Well, a Chinese company (as if you hadn't already guessed) has melded the two together to create Acouztic. You're probably expecting a cheap, crappy-sounding portable music player with a weak light that drains batteries faster than your daddy's car on date night. Well, you'd be wrong. About the cheap part, that is. For $140 you basically get an iPod shuffle stuck in the body of a small flashlight. That seems like an $80 premium for the privilege of running down the battery twice as fast. But then maybe we're just weird. What: Acouztic MSRP: $140 Where: www.xceoninc.com |
