JetBeam RRT-2 Raptor beamshoot comparison
These beamshoots are from my RRT-2 Raptor review Google translated, but because this review is in danish it is not included here. ![]() Here I will compare the RRT-2 with the following lights: Dereelight CL1H V4, Fenix TK11, JetBeam TiM R2, OLight M20 Warrior, JetBeam RRT-2 Raptor, JetBeam RRT-1 Raptor, Fenix TK20, OLight M30 Triton, Fenix TA30. ![]() This graph shows total light output on max.. Both TK20 and CL1H has a warm led, that is a bit lower in output, TK20 is also limited by batteries. M30 is a quad die led and has the absolute highest output, but as can be seen later, not the best throw. ![]() Combining all the different brightness settings in a log graph and it is easy to see the different in max. and min. and how the jumps are spaced (Equal distance means equal visual impression). The RRT-1 and RRT-2 has about the same visual jump between low and medium as between medium and high, other lights has a visual larger jump from low to medium that from medium to high. The TiM can be adjusted to anything between min., max. and strobe on its ”low” settings. ![]() The combination of a highly focused light and a high light output gives a light with very good throw. On the above graph I have measured the lux at the center of the beam at a distance of 4 meters. RRT-1 easily outthrows all the other lights. Looking only at lights with small reflector, the RRT-2 has the best throw, the quad die M30 does not have much throw. Note: My new super thrower DEFT will be about 900 in the above graph.
