Test/review of BestFire IMR26650 6000mAh (Purple)
BestFire IMR26650 6000mAh (Purple)
Official specifications:
A "high" capacity, high current rated cell. The two cells are not the same, they match in capacity, but the internal resistance is different (It is more obvious on the time charts). This also means there is a difference in current handling ability. One cell cannot handle 15A The other cell can handle 20A continuous drain. But it gets to hot at 30A. The internal resistance I calculate is 78mOhm and 44mOhm, this is a large difference. Conclusion I am not very impressed with the huge difference in internal resistance and I would not draw 60A from the good cell. Notes and links How is the test done and how to read the charts How is a protected LiIon battery constructed More about button top and flat top batteries Compare to 18650 and other batteries Compare to 26650 and other batteries
